As rain rests against my face
drops off my chin
stopping to feed flowers
When a little bird
on a naked branch
shares a song
when no others

    weaving between clouds

    paddle synching to the

    rhythm of the lake

    mind playing with pastels

  

    White and dark elegance

    perched on a tree

    eyes regal

    sunflower beak

  

    “Pay me no mind”

    as I float in fulfillment

    drift in reflection

   In the cool flame of morning

      my wings stir

        then awaken
